The cuff version is one of the most powerful wearable Aguilar/Vidaurreta objects. Five overlapping discs become a wrist sculpture - clean, armored, and almost industrial. It belongs as a separate object because the cuff is not a reduced accessory to the necklace; it is arguably the more successful expression of the design’s physical idea. This is the kind of piece that would hold its own in a “Taxco as modern sculpture” display.
