The Lyre necklace is one of Aguilar’s most important rhythmic link designs. The wave-form overlay and stacked silver balls give the piece movement without softness; it feels musical but still muscular. Moran identifies the necklace as part of a triple-ball and wave-link “Lyre” suite, and Morrill/Berk note the “lira” / Lyre name within the Taller Borda design vocabulary. This is a key necklace for showing Aguilar’s mature balance between abstraction, repetition, and physical weight.
