Flat links wrapped on the diagonal and topped with balls give this bracelet its rhythm, here produced under the Silson name in silver plate. Silson, Inc. in New York manufactured Spratling designs in the early 1940s after the Silson patents were registered in the United States, as Morrill's chronology records (Morrill, p. 257).
Spratling also made this same design in 980 silver, so the bracelet exists in both the handwrought Taxco medium and the plated Silson line aimed at the American market. The diagonally wrapped links carry the workshop's geometric vocabulary into a more affordable form.
