A round silver salt dish raised on a shaped silver base - a compact table form whose interest lies in the relationship between bowl and pedestal. An earlier version of the design carries the WS print, 925, and Taxco hallmarks, the marks placing those examples among the workshop's earlier output.
The simple raised body reflects the hand fabrication of the Las Delicias workshop, where Spratling led the Taxco silver revival of the 1930s.
