A silver bracelet bent to a "V" and set with amethysts, this piece gives a pointed, angular line to the wrist and marks it with the purple stone the workshop favored. The V-form lends the band a deco-inflected geometry, the amethysts ranged along it as accents.
The bracelet belongs to the workshop's First Design Period and to its vocabulary of geometric forms set with native stone. Recorded in the Morrill and Berk survey of twentieth-century Mexican silver, it is a documented example of the workshop's amethyst-set First Period jewelry.
