Los Castillo carries the Taxco silver tradition past the workshop of William Spratling, where the founding Castillo brothers trained before opening their own taller in 1939. This hammered silverplate plate belongs to the firm's broad output of table and serving wares, the everyday side of a house better remembered for its inlay and married-metals experiments.
