Curatorial note

Each link in this all-silver bracelet seems to float, an effect that comes not from decoration but from the method of construction, the teardrop links joined so they appear to hang free of one another.

That priority, letting the structure itself create the visual interest, is characteristic of the workshop's modern silver, where the working of the metal carries the design. A bracelet built of repeated teardrop links turns a simple module into rhythm across the wrist.

It belongs to the First Design Period, 1931 to 1946, the years in which Las Delicias established the vocabulary of Mexican modern silver. Link bracelets of this construction come to market only occasionally.
