This iced-tea spoon comes from the flatware side of Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda, the Taxco workshop better known for jewelry but which also produced silver for the table. It reflects the same attention to form that Aguilar carried across everything the atelier made.
Worked in silver, the spoon belongs to the long arc of Aguilar's independent production between 1939 and 1962, when the Taller Borda turned out tableware alongside its wearable silver.
