A salad-server fork with a rosewood handle capped by a silver end - the warm wood set against silver in the material contrast Morrill ties to Spratling's affinity for Puiforcat (p. 224), the capped terminal a small workshop refinement. It is documented through the catalogues, wholesaling at $24.80 in 1958-59 and $30.00 by 1967.
The design has since been reissued, continuing in production after the original workshop years. Such reissues attest to the enduring demand for Spratling table silver.
