Diamonds and Dots Necklace

This necklace carries the Diamonds and Dots vocabulary in a linked series of scalloped silver panels. Black and white champlevé enamel is organized into concentric dots, small diamonds, and curling arcs, giving the necklace a strong graphic rhythm while keeping every link part of the same articulated structure.

The design sits at the abstract pole of Margot de Taxco's enamel work. Rather than using a zodiac or figural subject, it lets repeated geometry carry the whole composition, a useful reminder that the taller's enamel language could be both ornamental and sharply modern.
